Michael Delp has two daughters, Lauren and Hannah, one son Grant, and his dog Nikkiepoodle (Rottweiler). Mike is Professor at Florida State University. Prior to joining the faculty at FSU, he worked at the University of Florida (2007-2014), West Virginia University School of Medicine (2005-2007), and Texas A&M University (1995-2005). He served on the NASA Vision Impairment Clinical Advisory Panel from 2011-2014, the NASA Science Working Group for the International Space Station from 2012-2015, and the Board of Directors for the American Kinesiology Association from 2012-2015. He currently serves on the NASA Biospecimen Storage Facility Process Management Board. Mike’s research examining the effects of spaceflight and aging on the cardiovascular system is currently funded by NASA and the NIH.
