Welcome to the Jette Lake Landowners Association Website
Jette Lake is a private residential subdivision consisting of 116 mostly wooded lots, five acres or larger, located seven miles north of Polson, MT on US 93. Many lots enjoy spectacular views of Flathead Lake, the Mission Mountains and Valley, and the town of Polson. Other lots offer quiet forest seclusion. Roads are maintained by Lake County and electrical service is underground.
Wildlife abounds in the private Jette Lake subdivision. At this time, there are 95 homes within the development. Protective covenants ensure consistent property values and quality of life. A 55-acre common area is available for the enjoyment of all landowners and their guests. It includes 32-acre Jette Lake, which is stocked with trout and bass, a one-mile hiking trail around the lake, a dock and picnic area. The landowners are organized as Jette Lake Landowners’ Association, a nonprofit corporation under the laws of the State of Montana.
A Board of Directors handles the day-to-day business of the Association, meeting monthly or as needed in open session. The Board is elected at the annual membership meeting. Additionally, the Board appoints volunteer landowners to serve on the Lake Committee, Water Committee, and Design Review Committee. The four-well water and storage system is managed by a state-certified water master, under contract to the Association. An accounting firm performs quarterly water billing and files annual Association taxes. Each landowner pays a base water rate of $30 per month for each lot owned, as well as $3 per 1,000 gallons used based on meter readings at each lot. Association general expenses are covered through annual assessments.
The current landowners’ assessment is $100 per year, per lot.
